Life-long
learning is central to continued faith formation and continued
development. Bethel offers a variety of adult learning
opportunities including Bible study, adult forums on topics of
current interest, and programs to better equip members for service
in the community and to carry out important family roles such as
parenting.
Sunday
Christian Education from 9:30 - 10:30 weekly. Adult
classes, typically led by pastors are provided on a range of
topics including Bible study, developing healing ministries and
being a downtown church.
Adult
Faith Forums are offered on a rotating schedule with Advent
and Lenten services. Leadership is provided by seminary
professors and community leaders.
Moms
& Kids are Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.. Activities include Bible study, fellowship and
crafts. This is a special time for moms with young kids to
spend time together in mutual support, to enhance their parenting
skills and to grow in their spirituality as individuals and
through their role as parents. Child care is provided.
